Job Description

You’ll be working in a unique community Hub designed for ex-offenders — and it’s genuinely brilliant. It’s a safe, welcoming space where people can connect, see a friendly face, and get the support they need to rebuild their lives. The Hub includes:

  • An onsite gym
  • Music studios
  • Wellness rooms
  • Arts and crafts spaces
  • Weekly “doughnut and debate” clubs (where support workers and clients discuss current events over doughnuts)
  • Cooked breakfasts during the week (with clients helping prepare the food)
With all of this in place, the Hub provides the perfect setting to offer practical and meaningful support. Alongside getting involved in activities, you’ll manage a caseload of clients through one-to-one sessions — helping them access housing, benefits, register with GPs or dentists, find training courses, and build life skills like budgeting, cooking, and wellness. There’s also light-touch employment support where needed. This is rehabilitation done right. The project is truly inspiring. To apply, you might have previous experience in the criminal justice system — perhaps as a prison officer, resettlement officer, or probation officer. Or you may have supported vulnerable people one-to-one in roles like project worker, support worker, hostel worker, employment advisor, job coach, careers advisor, or recruitment consultant. Please apply via this advert — we aim to respond to everyone.
