Employment Advisor in Enfield

Enfield Full-Time On-site
Red 5 People Ltd

Are you an experienced Employability Coach, Employment Advisor or Employability Tutor who enjoys helping people build confidence, develop their skills and move into meaningful employment?

We're recruiting for a well-established learning provider in Enfield, supporting adult learners on their Skills Bootcamp programmes.

What's the role?

You'll support around 20 learners at a time, helping them prepare for interviews and progress into employment.

Your week will involve:

  • Delivering a weekly classroom-based employability workshop covering CVs, interview techniques, job searching and self-employment.
  • Providing personalised 1:1 coaching to help learners overcome barriers and prepare for work.
  • Working with existing employer contacts to arrange interviews and secure job opportunities.
  • Tracking learner progress and working towards employment targets.

The good news is that the provider already has strong employer relationships, so this isn't a heavy business development role. It's much more about supporting learners and matching them with opportunities.

What are we looking for?

You'll need previous experience in employability, careers advice or employment support, including helping adults progress into work.

You'll also need to be comfortable delivering group workshops and providing 1:1 coaching.

You don't need a formal teaching qualification, although a Level 3 qualification in Careers, Coaching, IAG or Employability would be an advantage.
