Field-based role | Paid travel | Help rebuild lives in justice settings
Looking for a role where your support truly makes a difference? We’re recruiting a Criminal Justice Support Worker to join a brilliant charity supporting people across Essex who are in prison or on probation. This is a floating role—you’ll step in when staff are off, picking up existing caseloads to keep clients’ progress moving forward.
You’ll usually be based at the nearest site to you, but may travel across the region when needed—and all travel is paid. The support you provide will focus on resettlement and rehabilitation—helping people access housing, prepare for employment, set goals, and take positive steps forward.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in criminal justice, or with vulnerable clients (e.g. housing, addiction, mental health)
- Or a criminology graduate with relevant voluntary experience
- Flexibility to travel when required across Norfolk and Suffolk
This could suit someone with experience in probation, housing, resettlement, employment support—or simply someone passionate about second chances.
What’s on offer:
- 25 days leave (rising over time)
- 2 paid volunteering days
- Enhanced pension & life assurance
- Paid travel and mileage
- A supportive team who value your impact
