This is a part-time role based at HMP New Hall, supporting female prisoners and their families through safeguarding and promoting their health and wellbeing. Its a family friendly charity and a lovely organisation to work for. As part of this role, you will conduct assessments to plan tailored interventions that strengthen relationships between prisoners and their families. Key duties include facilitating visits, providing support, advocating for families, and coordinating with prison staff and external agencies. You will manage a caseload of 1215 prisoners and their families. The role is 18.5 hours per week, with flexibility across the week (e.g., ideal for working around school drop-offs and pick-ups). Typical tasks include: Coordinating group conference calls to address family conflicts. Organising family visits, which may include supporting travel expenses.
