An established and growing transport business is currently looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join its team on a temp-to-perm basis. This opportunity offers consistent year-round work, strong earning potential and the chance to secure a permanent position with a respected operator following a successful temporary period.
The role will initially involve covering holiday and sickness requirements across the fleet before progressing into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role
Drivers will be required to:
- Operate Class 1 articulated vehicles
- Occasionally drive rigid vehicles when required
- Carry out mainly curtainsider work
- Undertake occasional container shunting duties
- Complete an average of 2-3 nights out per week
- Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance
Average working hours are approximately 65 hours per week.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Have a minimum of 2 years' Class 1 experience
- Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
- Have a good command of spoken and written English
- Be willing to undertake tramping work
- Demonstrate a professional and reliable approach to work
