£50,000 - £60,000 OTE | Temp-to-Perm | Immediate Start

An established and growing transport business is currently looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join its team on a temp-to-perm basis. This opportunity offers consistent year-round work, strong earning potential and the chance to secure a permanent position with a respected operator following a successful temporary period.

The role will initially involve covering holiday and sickness requirements across the fleet before progressing into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

Drivers will be required to:

  • Operate Class 1 articulated vehicles

  • Complete an average of 2-3 nights out per week
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance

Average working hours are approximately 65 hours per week.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' Class 1 experience
  • Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
  • Have a good command of spoken and written English
  • Be willing to undertake tramping work
  • Demonstrate a professional and reliable approach to work
