This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Concrete Batcher or somebody already working within ready-mix concrete, aggregates or a similar production/plant environment who has the right attitude and wants to progress into batching. - Operating and monitoring computerised batching systems
- Monitoring batches as they're produced to ensure the correct mix is being delivered
- Making appropriate minor adjustments during production where required
- Working closely with Shippers to coordinate production, deliveries and drivers
- Communicating confidently with drivers regarding loads and production
- Working alongside Concrete Technicians to ensure batches meet required quality standards
- Carrying out appropriate quality checks on your own work
- Monitoring production throughout the shift and identifying potential issues early
- Maintaining accurate production information and records
- Taking ownership of the quality and consistency of the product being produced

- Comfortable working with computerised systems and multiple screens
- Able to concentrate and monitor several pieces of information simultaneously
