If you’re an Electrical Controls Engineer who enjoys solving real engineering problems, working on varied industrial projects and getting involved from design through to commissioning, this role will be right up your street.
A well-established engineering company in the South East is expanding its project team and is looking for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer to support a growing pipeline of industrial and process engineering work.
This is not a “sit behind a desk all day” engineering role.
You’ll be involved in design, system integration, installation and commissioning, working closely with clients to deliver reliable automation and control solutions.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Attending client sites for commissioning and troubleshooting
- Reading electrical schematics and engineering documentation
- Supporting panel builds, installations and system integration
- Attending client sites for commissioning and troubleshooting
- Working on projects that improve automation, efficiency and plant performance
- You’ll see projects through from concept to completion, giving you genuine ownership of the engineering work.

- Electrical / Control Systems engineering experience
- Background in industrial or process environments
- Knowledge of PLC systems and automation
- Ability to read and produce electrical drawings and schematics
- Comfortable working both in the office and on site
- Someone who enjoys practical engineering and problem solving

- HNC / HND / Degree in Electrical or Control Engineering
- Experience in sectors like manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, aggregates, chemicals or heavy industry
