The Role

As a Tuition Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing tuition placements, supporting tutor engagement, and ensuring students receive the appropriate educational support to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tuition placements from referral through to completion
  • Match students with suitable tutors based on academic needs, location and availability
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, schools, parents, carers and tutors
  • Monitor tuition programmes and ensure delivery aligns with agreed objectives
  • Manage tutor schedules, availability and ongoing support
  • Track learner progress and gather feedback from key stakeholders
  • Maintain safeguarding, compliance and documentation standards
  • Keep accurate records across CRM and internal systems
  • Assist with timesheet and invoicing administration
  • Resolve queries efficiently while delivering a high-quality service

About you

  • Previous experience in a Tuition Coordinator, Education Coordinator, SEN Coordinator, Student Support Coordinator or similar position
  • Experience managing tuition programmes, tutoring services or educational interventions
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and education compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of Local Authority-funded tuition services
  • Experience supporting SEND learners, Alternative Provision or EHCP programmes
  • Familiarity with tuition management platforms and education databases
  • Experience working with vulnerable learners and specialist educational support programmes
