Recurly is seeking a (Senior) Partner Development Manager for EMEA, based in London, to own and scale partner-driven growth across the region. This role works closely with the global partnerships team and serves as the EMEA representative for Recurly's global partner relationships, while also owning the development of region-specific partnerships.
You will be responsible for building, enabling, and activating Recurly's EMEA partner ecosystem—spanning payments, ISVs, agencies, resellers, and Shopify ecosystem partners—with clear accountability for pipeline generation and incremental revenue. You will also play a critical role in coordinating EMEA execution for global strategic partners, ensuring global relationships translate into measurable regional impact.
You will operate as the regional owner of partner outcomes, combining ecosystem design, partner relationships, and hands-on commercial execution. While partner-sourced pipeline for Recurly is the primary objective, this role also plays a key part in driving direct revenue through partners that Recurly refers to, resells, or brings to market jointly. This is a highly autonomous, senior individual contributor role with a clear mandate: Drive partner-sourced pipeline, partner adoption, and incremental revenue growth for Recurly in EMEA—while acting as the regional extension of Recurly's global partnerships strategy.
What You'll Do
- Regional Partner Strategy & Ownership
- Execute Recurly's EMEA partner strategy in alignment with global partnership priorities, company growth objectives, ICPs, and vertical focus.
- Own partner-sourced pipeline targets for the region, with clear accountability for opportunity quality, velocity, and conversion.
- Identify and scale new revenue-generating partner opportunities in EMEA, including referral, resale, and joint GTM models.
- Serve as the senior regional voice for partnerships, providing input into global strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions.
- Strategic Partner Development
- Identify, recruit high-impact EMEA-based referral and reseller partnerships across:
- Payments and PSPs
- ISVs and SaaS platforms
- Agencies, SIs, and consultancies
- Lead engagement with regional partners to establish durable, revenue-focused relationships.
- Act as the EMEA point of coordination for global strategic partners, ensuring:
- Regional enablement and alignment
- Clear ownership of EMEA execution
- Consistent feedback to global partner managers
- Shopify Plus agencies
- App and platform partners
- Commerce and subscription-focused consultancies
- Own the end-to-end partner lifecycle in EMEA: from onboarding and enablement through, activation, optimization, and renewal.
- Design and execute regional enablement programs that allow partners to confidently position and sell Recurly, independently source and refer qualified opportunities, and drive adoption of partner solutions Recurly refers or resells.
- Ensure global strategic partners are effectively activated in EMEA, translating global relationships into local execution, pipeline and revenue.
- Work closely with EMEA sales leadership and AEs on partner-led opportunity sourcing, joint account planning and co-selling motions, complex, multi-party deal execution.
- Ensure partners are fully embedded into the regional sales motion, not operating in parallel.
- Track partner performance across pipeline contribution, adoption, and direct revenue, using data to refine focus and investment.
- Actively contribute to the success of revenue-bearing partner relationships, supporting resale, referral, and joint commercial models.
- Operate as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success leadership.
- Champion regional partner and merchant feedback into the global partnerships organization to inform roadmap, packaging, and GTM decisions.
