We’re currently looking for a high-performing Account Executive to continue our growth in the EMEA region.

The Account Executive needs to be an experienced consultative seller, comfortable managing complex sales cycles and a hunter who can identify and build impactful relationships with prospects from the first conversation to close.

Responsibilities
  • Consultatively guide Enterprise prospects to choose Recurly as their subscription growth platform
  • Source and create new opportunities - this predominantly a new business role!
  • Manage sales opportunities from beginning to end - identifying and qualifying prospects, aligning Recurly’s value with prospect needs, navigating multiple stakeholder perspectives, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Create a territory and pipeline generation plan to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet quarterly/annual quota requirements
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Recurly’s product, technology, competitors and industry trends
  • Work closely with supporting functions including Marketing, SDRs, Customer Success, and Professional Services.
Requirements
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in a quota carrying sales role selling software to Enterprise customers
  • A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement.
  • Natural curiosity and the desire to win together with our customers
  • Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment
  • Proven experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management and pipeline generation and selling to multiple constituents in the same cycle
  • Roll up your sleeves attitude and willingness to be a relentless collaborator, excellent teammate and process innovator
  • Desire to never stop learning or growing
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
