Are you an SDR with a passion for AI-powered conversational commerce and a hunger for ownership and impact? We’re hiring on behalf of a VC-backed start-up transforming enterprise retail engagement through cutting-edge AI. As an early-stage SDR, you will co-create a repeatable playbook and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this high-impact position demands strong business acumen, a consultative approach, and proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within AI/SaaS conversational commerce with enterprise or retail clients.
As the Sales Development Representative, your role will involve:
- Strategic Account Targeting: Identifying mid-market and enterprise retail accounts with stakeholders;
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Developing and executing personalised outreach strategies via LinkedIn, email, and cold calls using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, and Instantly.
- Expanding account relationships to include higher-level decision makers and champions. Key personas include CRM Directors, Marketing Directors, Customer Experience Directors, and Omnichannel/E-commerce Directors.
- Qualifying leads, supporting pipeline progression with tailored messaging and timely touchpoints, and handing off sales-ready opportunities to Account Executives.
- Sales Playbook Creation: Partnering with the CEO and senior leadership to document and refine a scalable, data-driven outreach playbook.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a B2B SDR or BDR role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity, pipeline, and conversion targets, preferably within AI/SaaS conversational commerce or enterprise retail.
Sales Expertise: Familiarity with selling SaaS to enterprise or retail clients;
Analytical & Creative Mindset: Ability to design, execute, and analyse personalised outreach experiments for continuous optimisation.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot or Salesforce, Apollo or Outreach, Clay or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Eagerness to co-build a scalable sales playbook, iterate rapidly, and explore AI’s potential in SaaS.
Competitive Compensation: £45-50,000k base salary, £20,000 OTE
