Back End Developer – start-up experience or and interest in start-ups essential Merseyside – Hybrid
We are working with an ambitious, early-stage start-up that is revolutionising productivity through cutting-edge Generative AI. Their mission is to empower knowledge workers – especially those without coding expertise – by creating intuitive and impactful tools that support teams.

You are eager to share your work and learnings, whether through blogs, videos, or other public channels (don’t worry, support is available if you’re new to this)
You will be passionate about building things from the ground up and will understand the hard work required in a start-up environment.
Proficiency in Python : You write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code
Django Framework Expertise : Experience building and maintaining applications with Django (experience with Flask or FastAPI is a bonus)
Django Rest Framework (DRF) : Skilled in integrating and building RESTful APIs
PostgreSQL : Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and query performance tuning
Experience with frameworks like Django Channels .
Cloud & DevOps Experience
AWS Infrastructure : Proven experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications on AWS (e.g., A proactive approach to building secure systems.
Bonus Skills
LLMs & Vector Databases : Experience with large language models or vector databases (e.g., AI-powered Systems : Hands-on experience integrating AI-driven features into production systems.
Flexible hybrid working, with 2 days per week in their office
