About the Role
We are partnering with a leading firm looking to recruit an Assistant Audit Manager to support the delivery of high-quality audit and accounts work across a diverse range of clients. As an Assistant Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex audits, managing client relationships, and leading audit teams to deliver timely and effective results. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical skills and a desire to develop their career in audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Planning & Execution: Work on complex and significant risk areas of the audit, prioritising effectively and managing the field team on-site.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and managing reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Audit Engagements: Assist with the delivery of audit and accounts work on client engagements, ensuring high-quality results and timely completion.
- Team Leadership: Take responsibility for managing the field team during audits, ensuring high standards and timely completion of work.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the audit process is compliant with relevant standards and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- ACA/ACCA qualified or close to achieving the qualification.
- Audit Experience gained in a similar practice environment, with a strong understanding of the audit process.
- Competent with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience using Audit systems and CCH software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
