Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring effective cost control, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth objectives. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of financial management principles, including financial accounting, planning, and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping
2. VAT Returns (including knowledge of Domestic Reverse Charge)
3. CIS Returns
4. Processing payrolls and P11Ds
5. Problem-solving
6. Credit Control
7. Calls to HMRC
8. Balance Sheet Reconciliations
9. Cashflow Forecasts
10. Management Accounts
11. Forming Ltd Companies
12. KPI’s
13. Budgets
14. Year End Preparation
15. Payments
16. Tax Planning/Efficiencies

Requirements

1. Permanent
2. An office-based position located in Enfield
3. Proven experience in a finance management role with a strong background in Construction.
4. At least an AAT Qualification
5. Proficient in using financial software and tools in Excel and Sage
6. A minimum of 2 years experience
