Job description Permanent Chichester £25,000 pa ( Starting salary) Full time to include some weekends on a rota basis We are looking for an experienced front of house assistant to work with our client in their extremely popular and well known busy restaurant located on the outskirts of Chichester. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support to the customers in the restaurant. This is a permanent role working 5 days out of 7 and will include one weekend day per week on a rota. Main duties and responsibilities: Assist with the running of the restaurant floor Meeting and greeting customers in a polite and professional manner Assist with the waiting on and clearing of tables Using effective communication with the kitchen Preparing hot and cold beverages for customers To take responsibility for enhancing the experience of our customers. Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action Excellent standards of hygiene and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines To be successful in this role, our client is looking for someone who has a professional and mature manner, excellent interpersonal skills and who is willing to learn. Due to the location of our clients premises, ideally you will have your own transport but it is on the 700 bus route.
