We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver Double Decker for a full-time, ongoing position.

This role involves depot-to-depot trunking work, focusing on safe and efficient transportation of goods using double-decker trailers. Drivers in this role typically handle 1-2 drops per day, swapping trailers at various depots across the network.

  • 1-2 drops per shift.
  • Trailer swaps between depots.
  • Start times between 12:00 - 21:00 (must be flexible).
  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with legal and company regulations.
  • Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
  • Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required.

Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean record (Max 6 points; no DR, DD, DG, CD, BD codes).

Paid holiday, competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, company pension scheme, on-site parking and free parking available.

PAYE Rates (First 12 Weeks):

  • Monday to Friday £19.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £23.50 per hour.
  • Saturday £22.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £23.50 per hour.
  • Sunday £24.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £25 per hour.
  • Bank Holiday £30.00 per hour (all hours).

PAYE Rates (After 12 Weeks):

  • Monday to Friday £19.50 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £24.00 per hour.
  • Saturday £23.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £24.00 per hour.
  • Sunday £25.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £25.00 per hour.
  • Bank Holiday £30.00 per hour (all hours).
