Job Description :

REC Source is recruiting experienced and flexible HGV Class 1 Drivers for general haulage and store delivery operations.

This role includestail lift deliveries, curtain-sided work, multidrop responsibilities, and occasionalmanual handling.

Drivers should be open tonights outand willing to assist withlower-classvehicles when operationally required.

Key Responsibilities :

• OperateHGVClass 1 vehiclesfor general and retail deliveries across the UK.
• Completemanifests and delivery notesaccurately.
• Conductpre- and post-shift vehicle checks, including tail lift inspection.
• Carry outmultidrop work, including someLondon routes(up to 10 drops).
• Be available forovernight stays, especially when covering spare shifts.
• Ensure dailytacho card downloadsat the start and end of each shift.

Requirements :

• Licence:Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Experience:Minimum 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Points:Maximum of 6 penalty points; no major endorsements accepted. (E.g. DR,IN,CU)
• PPE:Safety boots, gloves, and hi-vis vest required.
• PAYE only

Role-Specific Requirements:

• Must be open to drivingHGV Class 2 or 7.5tonne vehiclesif needed (while paid asHGV Class 1).
• Capable of completing long-distance hauls and high-volume delivery runs.
• Maintains a neat appearance and professional approach at all times.
• Available for weekend work and flexible with shifts and location demands.

PAYEPay Rates :

• Monday to Friday Day= £16.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday Night= £17.00 per hour
• Saturday Day/Night = £17.50 per hour.
