We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) drivers for a busy distribution hub based in Stevenage. This is a multi-drop delivery role involving the movement of bakery goods to convenience stores and supermarkets.
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail sites (average 8-12 drops per shift, up to 15 locally)
- Operate tail-lift vehicles safely and in line with company training
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 Driver (C) licence, held for a minimum of 1 year
- Valid UK-issued CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Comfortable with manual handling of bread trays and early morning start times
- Written test (Highway Code and Driver Hours)
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing work with potential for Temp-to-Perm opportunities
- On-site support, parking, and clear scheduling from a dedicated transport team
- Weekend and holiday shift availability highly valued
Pay Rates:
- FROM MIDNIGHT TO 12:00PM = £17.60 per hour
- FROM 12:00PM = £18.92 per hour
