Our client requires a Site Operative to start ASAP in Newport. This role is on a permanent basis. The Site Operative will assist the Site Manager and Trades on site. It is preferable for the operative to have Glasshouse experience in undertaking various tasks associated with glasshouse construction and fit out such as steel erecting, glazing, gutters, drainage, and doors.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Site Manager and Trades on site.
- Undertaking various tasks associated with glasshouse construction and fit out.
Requirements:
- CSCS card holder.
- PASMA/IPAF MEWP operation.
- Full UK Driving license (Clean).
Non-Essential / Beneficial:
- Experience in glasshouse construction and fit out.
- Knowledge of water/plumbing/pipework, heating, and awareness of electrical systems.
- SSSTS.
- Telehandler operation / CPCS training.
Details:
- Salary is negotiable, plus regular overtime, vans, and tools.
- The role will be mobile, with digs and allowances paid.
- Hours on site are 7.30am to 5pm.
