RECSEEKERS is growing and we’re looking to bring an experienced Education recruiter on board. We operate purely within Education Rec2Rec, working with consultants, Team Leads and Managers across the UK and moving them into stronger environments when the timing is right. If you’ve built a desk in Education recruitment, you already understand what it takes: consistency, resilience and the ability to deliver week in, week out.

You’ll be joining a business with active clients, established relationships and a market we are already embedded in. This isn’t a cold start, but it is yours to build. We’re based on Collingwood Street in Newcastle, around 3 minutes from the station, in a 10-person office currently at 5 and growing. We share the space with our sister brand CloudSeekers in the US Tech market. It’s a focused, high-performing environment where people work hard, back each other and take pride in doing things properly.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be expected to build your own division within Education Rec2Rec and take full 360 ownership of your desk. There are existing relationships and active clients in place, but performance comes down to what you put in. This suits someone who wants responsibility and backs themselves to build something properly over time. The work is still fast-paced, but more considered. You’ll be speaking to experienced recruiters, understanding motivations and managing processes that require more thought than volume. You’ll also be building your own presence in the market. LinkedIn, content and developing a profile are part of how we operate and how you grow. You’ll be close to the commercial side of the business, how we win work, how we grow and how decisions are made. This is not an easy role. Standards are high, expectations are clear and it will require effort. If you bring the same work ethic you apply to your current desk, the upside here is significantly higher.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Building relationships with Education recruitment professionals across the UK
  • Managing conversations with consultants, Team Leads and Managers
  • Understanding motivations and positioning opportunities accordingly
  • Working closely with clients to introduce high-quality candidates
  • Managing the process from first conversation through to placement
  • Maintaining a consistent pipeline and level of activity
  • Building out your own division over time

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 1 year within Education agency recruitment
  • Someone who is self-driven and consistent
  • Confident communicating and building relationships
  • Someone who wants to take ownership and build something properly
  • Comfortable putting themselves out there on LinkedIn
  • Ambitious, competitive and serious about progressing
  • Prior sales experience is beneficial

This role is specific to Education recruiters. You’ll be office-based in Newcastle, with one day WFH after probation. Hours are 8am to 6pm, with an early finish on Fridays. You’ll have LinkedIn Recruiter, ChatGPT or Claude, a 2026 MacBook and the latest iPhone. Daily coffees covered, Friday breakfast sorted. Team dinners, top biller lunches, quarterly awards and international incentives as we grow. You can earn £80,000+ in your first year here and we want to make it happen. If you want to build something, earn well and apply your work ethic in an environment where the upside is higher, you’ll do well here.
