We’re working with a highly respected specialist recruitment agency that has carved out a strong niche within the white collar construction and engineering sectors. Known for their deep market knowledge and consultative approach, they support a wide range of clients from innovative SMEs to major national contractors and consultancies.
As part of their ongoing expansion, they’re now seeking a motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their Leeds office. This is a great opportunity to grow your desk within a high-demand market, backed by a supportive leadership team and a brand with real credibility in the sector.
About the Role
You’ll be recruiting technical and professional staff across the construction and engineering sectors; roles could include project managers, site engineers, estimators, planners, design engineers, and more. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle: client management, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and aftercare
- Build relationships with hiring managers across main contractors, consultancies, and engineering firms
- Grow a high-quality candidate network across white collar construction/engineering disciplines
- Provide expert guidance to clients on recruitment strategy, salary benchmarks, and market trends
- Write compelling job adverts and promote opportunities through multiple channels
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while owning and growing your desk
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in recruitment (360 experience preferred), ideally within construction, engineering, or technical sectors
- Commercially aware and motivated by success, results, and relationships
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing a busy desk
- Confident using modern recruitment tools (CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards)
- A proactive team player who contributes to a positive and ambitious culture
