We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver (Remote Grab) to deliver building materials to a range of customers across London and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and in line with planned routes and company procedures.
Previous experience operating a HIAB with a remote brick grab is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and DVSA compliance (AM/PM checks)
- Deliver building materials safely using a HIAB remote brick grab
- Ensure all loads are secured safely prior to transportation
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
- Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- HIAB certification with Remote Brick Grab (essential)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- In-date Driver CPC
- Proven experience operating a Class 2 HIAB with remote grab
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent English required
