Our client based in Chelmsford requires Van drivers for the distribution of building materials.

The Role

As a driver, you will be delivering to various customers. This must be done on time and you must follow the routes given. Building a good working relationship with depot managers will enable you to sort out queries and any other issues which may arise.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Vehicle checks to ensure road worthiness and compliance with VOSA
  • Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation
  • Being able to ensure load is secure
  • Strong communication and teamwork are an essential part of this role
  • The ability to complete paperwork accurately
