About the Role

We are currently recruiting for 4 experiencedClass 2 HIAB Driver (Remote Grab)to carry outtemporary work for our clients in and around Birmingham, delivering building materials to a range of customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and in line with planned routes and company procedures.

Previous experience operating a HIAB with a remote brick grab is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and DVSA compliance (AM/PM checks)

  • Deliver building materials safely using a HIAB remote brick grab

  • Ensure all loads are secured safely prior to transportation

  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)

  • Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues

  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

  • HIAB certification with Remote Brick Grab (essential)

  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card

  • In-date Driver CPC

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience operating a Class 2 HIAB with remote grab

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Fluent English required
