Are you an experienced Finance Administrator seeking a new challenge? Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for an administrator in Taunton to join a Financial Planning practice. This company is a chartered firm that is listed as one of the UK’s top firms. They owe their growth to great clients and employees which in turn develops a positive work environment. They’re seeking a talented and ambitious professional that is seeking a company to invest in their growth and professional career.

The duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Setting up clients on Intelligent Office
  • Processing Letters of Authority
  • Filing relevant documents, and recording to the database efficiently
  • Liaising with the financial advisers with regards to progress and completion of tasks
  • Liaising between clients and providers to ensure information is complete and correct
  • Processing New business - ensuring applications are complete to checklists and specifications
  • Preparing new business to enclose memo and issue applications and associated paperwork to the relevant parties
  • Issuing policy documents to clients
  • Existing customer service - processing fund switches, sale of assets online
  • Managing and issuing review letters
  • Updating IO in relation to changes to clients or policy records
  • Valuations - preparing valuations as requested
  • Liaising with providers to ensure all data is correctly entered into IO - producing reports
  • Customer service external and internal - liaising with clients, internal departments efficiently and professionally
  • Electronic filing - scanning and indexing all incoming post into Virtual Cabinet and liaising with designated advisers where appropriate
  • Call Handing - answering incoming telephone calls

Other duties may include: covering sickness and holiday of other administrators, assisting in the smooth flowing of the department, archiving, ad hoc projects when they arise.
