Job Description
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Finance and Operations Administrator in Trowbridge to join a Financial Planning and Accountancy Firm
Responsibilities
- Process income through Adviser Office (IRESS database software) predominantly via EDI link and CSV files. Complete excel analysis of receipts for management reporting purposes.
- Review and maintain the Sales Ledger and investigate and resolve any charging queries with Insurers or Clients.
- Assist in monthly Management report preparation including reporting on New Business and Ongoing adviser charges, Client Assets under management, and other information required for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Assist in maintaining Adviser Office via Data Cleansing and Archiving modules.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, including exporting data from Adviser Office using Query builder.
- Share effective working practices and be able to highlight where improvements can be made, working in conjunction with the Finance and Operations Manager and Client Relations Manager.
- Scan statements and other documents into Virtual Cabinet (document management software).
- Filing and other administrative duties including printed stationery stock record keeping and reordering.
- Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm’s record keeping requirements.
- Have an understanding that the provision of advice to clients must be in a compliant manner as detailed in the firm’s Risk Plan.
- Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules at all times.
- Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times.
- Follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm at all times.
- Ensure all dealings with clients and colleagues are carried out in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm as above at all times.

Skills and experience required
- Experience of data processing using a back office system/database and extracting data/reports.
- Manipulating data in excel for management or compliance reporting purposes.
- Use of back office system such as Adviser Office or Intelliflo.
- Knowledge of Financial Services industry and products.
