The Company: With over 40 years in the industry, the company designs and manufactures world-class agricultural machinery. Known for quality and innovation, they are expanding and looking for a committed Factory Hand to join their Winchester team.
We’re looking for a motivated Industrial Painter to join our busy team. You’ll receive hands-on training across painting operations, product preparation, equipment maintenance, and general workshop support. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the industrial engineering and fabrication industry. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with painting operations, including preparing parts, mixing paints, and operating the paint booth under supervision.
- Follow job cards and drawings to meet job requirements.
- Support general workshop and production tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and assist with equipment maintenance.
- Inspect completed work and move finished items to assembly areas.
- Follow health and safety procedures and participate in toolbox meetings.
- A great attitude and willingness to learn — the most important thing!
- Ability to follow instruction cards and work methodically.
- Physically fit (lifting and manual handling involved).
- Reliable, punctual, and organised.
- Good communication skills.
- Forklift experience/licence is a bonus, not essential.
- Able to be on your feet throughout the workday (approx. 45 hours).
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE use.
- NZ residency is required; visa sponsorship is not available, so overseas candidates will not be considered.
