Our client Arun Associates is looking for a full time Building Surveyor with suitable building surveying experience. The successful candidate will most likely have worked in a commercial firm and understands what it takes to establish and sustain good relationships with various client types including homeowners, block and property managers, housing associations, local councils, tenants as well as introducers like architects and loss assessors etc. Arun Associates is a small firm with a big ambition and this role could be for you if you want to be a part of a team that is dynamic, flexible, forward-thinking and committed to achieving growth and expanding our excellent reputation. Their clients typically come from Greater London and the Home Counties. For the most part, they help them with their residential maintenance, refurbishment and insurance reinstatement projects. Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ideally they would look to appoint a Chartered Surveyor, however consideration would be given to appointing a non RICS qualified candidate who is a good all rounder with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Acquired previous experience working on housing disrepair and party wall matters, building pathology and reports, specification and contract administration services.
  • Have good communication skill (verbal and written)
  • Have a dynamic and personable nature and personal drive and self-motivation.
  • Have good organisational skills and work to agreed timetables.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Be computer literate
