Trainee Field Service Engineer Sims automatics is a well-established, family-owned business that has been trading for more than 50 years. The company has grown, through time, to become Scotland’s leading provider of entertainment, gaming and barware solutions across the hospitality sector, including pubs, clubs and a host of entertainment venues. This position may suit someone seeking secure employment who is eager to learn new skills in a stable, supportive environment. Training on all our products is delivered in-house from their experienced specialists both in their workshop and in the field. The Position: Average 40 hours per week over an eight-week cycle (including alternate weekends). Repair and servicing the range of equipment we supply (except EPOS) in their customer’s premises throughout Scotland. Operating out of their Glasgow or Dunfermline depots. The Candidate: Experience in servicing and repairing electrical and electronic equipment in the field would be beneficial although not essential. Qualifications in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical engineering would be an advantage. Good customer facing skills. Full UK Driving License. Resides in postcodes DD, EH, FK, G, KA, KY, ML, PA. Benefits: Annual Salary £28k (during training) to £30K+. Overtime available. Discretionary Bonus Scheme. Company pension.
