Little Wing's Big Dreams Day Nursery is hiring. The successful candidate will ideally have a background of two years minimum management experience within a Nursery environment. To be committed in ensuring the Nursery provides a high level of care that will enhance the children’s learning, holistic development and daily experiences.
The ideal candidate will oversee the Nursery Curriculum ensuring the Nursery's Values and Ethos are executed through activities and staff are confident in their knowledge and deployment of this.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the Nursery's Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring policies and procedures promote the welfare and safety of children at all times.
- Liaising with the team including their in-house SENCO and external agencies, working together to safeguard children effectively, confidently making necessary referrals to MASH or LADO if required.
- Ensuring a commitment to our parents in our partnership approach: being open-minded and dedicated to ensuring a nurturing, professional service within the Nursery at all times.
- Being confident in staff safer recruitment and deployment processes ensuring the rota is completed and ratios are conformed to on a daily basis.
- Overseeing Keyperson termly assessments, two-year checks and Reception Transition Reports whilst ensuring these are being done to a high standard and sent or filed appropriately.
- Overseeing the Nursery Curriculum and planning and ensuring the settings Action Plans are being followed.
