Job type:
Permanent, Full time – 40 hours a week
Working days are Monday -Friday consisting of 8 hour shifts.
Location Team Valley Industrial Estate

Paragon Cutting Formes Ltd. was founded in 1991 to provide Die Cutting and Print Finishing to the printing trade. They offer a wide range of services to Print, Packaging & Allied Trades. Duties & Responsibilities of a Die maker:
- Achieve daily production plan
- Comply with company processes and procedures
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping
- Passing of own work
- Work with a flexible approach and when required assist with other departments in the factory
- Comply with the company health and safety procedures
- Ability to work to deadlines
Job description:
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models to gain a comprehensive understanding of the required parts
- Use machine tools to manufacture tools and dies
- Measure finished parts to ensure they meet specifications using precise measurement tools
- Assemble, disassemble, and test products to ensure functionality and quality
- Repair damaged or worn out tools and dies
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and modify tools and dies
- Coordinate with engineers and other production staff to understand specific requirements and to troubleshoot problems
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with safety regulations
- Perform regular maintenance on machine tools to ensure optimal performance
Experience required:
- Previous work of cutting and or fitting dies
- Good problem-solving skills, whilst working under pressure
- Experience in the print finishing trade
