Head of Sales & Marketing

KSF Global is a growing international supplier of bespoke retail displays, store fixtures, digital retail technology and integrated retail solutions.

We work with major retailers and global brands, supporting projects from concept design and engineering through prototyping, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and installation.

As we enter our next stage of growth, broadening our product offer across fixtures and digital technology and expanding into retail, hospitality, health & wellness and education, we are looking for an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our commercial growth strategy, strengthen our sales pipeline and build a structured, scalable approach to new business, account development and marketing.

Role Summary

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone combining strong B2B sales capability with strategic marketing awareness.

  • You will take ownership of KSF's sales and marketing performance, with a focus on:

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth & New Business
  • Develop and implement the sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain a qualified, predictable new-business pipeline.
  • Lead targeted outbound activity focused on priority retailers, brands and prospects.
  • Personally support major opportunities, pitches, proposals, tenders and negotiations.
  • Establish clear sales targets, KPIs and accountability.
  • New Market Development
  • Identify opportunities across new sectors, products, customer groups and geographic markets.
  • Develop practical go-to-market plans for selected opportunities.
  • Research market potential, customer needs, competitors and routes to market.
  • Build target-account lists, partnerships and pipelines within new markets.
  • Test new propositions and adapt approaches based on results.
  • Work with Product, Marketing and Operations to support successful market entry.
  • Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and oversee a marketing strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Strengthen inbound lead generation and market visibility.
  • Guide digital marketing, SEO, AI/search visibility, social media, email, content, case studies and events.
  • Ensure activity targets priority segments and delivers measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Improve sales and marketing collateral and monitor lead quality, conversion and ROI.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach and develop the Sales and Marketing team.
  • Establish clear roles, objectives and KPIs.
  • Improve capability through coaching, structured reviews and development plans.
  • Introduce consistent sales processes, pipeline reviews and performance management.
  • Account Growth
  • Work with the Head of Accounts to identify customer growth, retention and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop strategies for stable, growing and newly acquired accounts.
  • Maintain senior relationships with strategically important customers where appropriate.
  • Ensure new customers are effectively handed over to Account and Project teams.
  • Strategic Partnerships
  • Develop relationships with technology providers, software partners and complementary businesses.
  • Create referral, joint-selling and joint-marketing opportunities.
  • Build a measurable pipeline of partner-generated opportunities.
  • Support joint customer propositions and demonstrations.
  • Commercial Performance
  • Own sales performance, pipeline and revenue forecasting.
  • Maintain strong awareness of gross margin and opportunity quality.
  • Support pricing strategy and major commercial negotiations.
  • Balance growth with profitability, risk and operational capability.
  • Provide regular performance reporting to the Managing Director.

Skills and Experience

Essential – Sales

  • Strong senior B2B sales, business development or sales leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of winning significant new customer accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex or consultative sales opportunities.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship development and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing sales and/or marketing teams.
  • Demonstrable experience improving sales processes, pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies and successfully entering new markets or customer segments.
  • Good understanding of marketing and its role in generating qualified sales opportunities.
  • Strong CRM and data-driven sales management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.

  • Ability to develop targeted campaigns for specific sectors and new markets.
  • Experience creating value propositions, case studies, sales collateral and sector-focused content.
  • Strong analytical skills, including lead generation, conversion, campaign ROI and marketing-generated pipeline.
  • Experience using CRM, Google Analytics, Search Console and digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to lead marketing team members and external agencies.
  • Strong understanding of how Sales and Marketing work together to create sustainable growth.
