Electrical Engineering | MEICA / EICA | Water & Wastewater | Project Delivery | Technical Leadership

Want more than simply inheriting somebody else's projects and processes? Join a growing business where you can genuinely influence how projects are delivered, how standards are set and how a new delivery team develops around you. We're looking for a proactive, technically strong Electrical Project Manager with complementary mechanical understanding to help drive the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of MEICA projects across the water sector.

You'll be the first engineer in a newly formed delivery team, giving you genuine autonomy to shape processes, influence best practice and establish yourself as a key technical lead as the department grows. If you know your way around electrical project delivery, understand how electrical, ICA and mechanical systems come together, and want an opportunity with serious room to develop, we'd love to talk.

The Role at a Glance:

  • Yorkshire Based
  • Competitive Salary DOE
  • Company Vehicle or Allowance + Fuel Card
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Gym Membership | Flexitime | CPD & Industry Training

Projects: MEICA | EICA | Water | Wastewater

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence

About You:

You'll bring a strong electrical engineering background, ideally developed within MEICA, EICA, water, wastewater or a similarly complex engineering environment. Importantly, while electrical is your core discipline, you'll understand the mechanical side too and be comfortable looking at the project as a whole rather than working within a narrow technical silo.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong electrical engineering and project delivery experience.
  • Ideally, experience within MEICA / EICA environments.
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical equipment and its interface with electrical and ICA systems.
  • Experience with LV systems, MCCs, ICA equipment, pumps, valves and process assets.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and ensure works are delivered to specification.
  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations, permits, temporary works and construction site procedures.
  • Confidence coordinating teams, subcontractors and resources across live projects.
  • Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build credible relationships with clients, operational teams and technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Why CHG Electrical?

This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation at a particularly exciting point in its development. Rather than stepping into an established hierarchy, you'll become the first engineer in a new delivery team, with the chance to help shape its processes, culture and technical direction. You'll have autonomy, responsibility and exposure across the full project lifecycle, backed by ongoing CPD and industry training to continue developing your expertise.

Ready to Build Something?

If you're an electrically biased engineering professional who understands MEICA project delivery and you're ready for greater ownership, influence and long-term progression, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and help shape the next chapter at CHG Electrical Ltd.
