A successful high-net-worth family based in Stoke Poges is looking for a warm, engaging and experienced Live-Out Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household. The family has three children, aged 9, 7 and 5 and is seeking someone fun, energetic and dependable who can provide continuity of care while independently managing the household responsibilities. Most of the role will be based in the family home, making this ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a warm, happy and well-organised environment, and can independently manage their time and responsibilities. This is a varied, hands-on position requiring someone who is flexible and equally comfortable with organising their own daily priorities, caring for children of different ages, preparing healthy meals and maintaining a tidy, smoothly run home. The family also has two small cats, so you will need to be comfortable helping with their day-to-day care.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Nanny / Housekeeper looking to build a trusted, long-term relationship with a welcoming and successful family. You will play an important role in the children's daily lives, providing warm, attentive and age-appropriate care while bringing fun, creativity and positive energy to their time at home. As the position is predominantly house-based, the successful candidate will take ownership of general housekeeping, family meal preparation, laundry and household organisation, helping to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently, as well as childcare responsibilities during holidays and after school. This is more than a traditional Nanny / Housekeeper position. What Your Day Might Look Like
- Managing general household cleaning, tidying and organisation
- Keeping the children's bedrooms, play areas and shared family spaces clean and well maintained
- Managing family laundry and other day-to-day household tasks
- Preparing fresh, healthy meals for the family
- Feeding and helping to care for the family's two small cats
- School pick ups as and when required
- Providing occasional evening and weekend babysitting
- Providing full-time childcare during the school holidays
- Providing warm, attentive and age-appropriate care for three children
- Helping the parents with the children's daily and after-school routines at home
- Organising enjoyable home-based and outdoor activities during the school holidays
About You
You will be a warm, positive and capable Nanny / Housekeeper who enjoys the domestic environment, working with young children and contributing to family life.
