We have an established international reputation at the forefront of the underwater sonar industry, built on a proven track record of innovative design and consistently superior production. More specifically, we are a specialist, high technology Company engaged in the bespoke design, development and manufacture of ultrasonic array transducers for both military and commercial markets. Our Order Book is full and growing. Consequently, we are seeking a Quality Technician to join our highly skilled team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Glasgow.

Reporting to the Quality Manager the role will include:

  • Conduct in-process and internal procedural audits in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
  • Ensure compliance to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and company specific processes and procedures
  • Collate and analyse production quality data and report on performance, measuring against set KPIs
  • Manage internal/external non-conforming materials
  • Provide support to production and clients on quality issues
  • Support document control process and update policies and procedures within the current quality management system
  • Support the company’s continuous improvement culture

You will possess a positive and determined attitude and will take ownership of each task. Working across various departments is key to this role and therefore you should have the ability to integrate into multiple teams and communicate effectively. As a minimum, you will be educated to HNC level or equivalent in a Quality discipline and ideally, have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role although not essential.
