We have built a strong reputation across the community, healthcare and education sectors, delivering high-quality projects throughout Scotland. Our main contracts division typically delivers projects ranging from £500k to £12m across the Central Belt. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our established team.

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a diverse portfolio of construction projects. Working closely with the Pre-Construction and Contracts teams, you will play a key role in securing new work and supporting successful project delivery.

  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for construction projects
  • Work across a range of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, retail and residential (£500k - £12m)
  • Identify commercial and contractual risks and opportunities within tenders
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
  • Carry out site visits to understand project scope and site conditions
  • Proven experience in a dedicated Estimator role within construction
  • Experience preparing estimates on projects within a similar value range (£500k - £10m+)
  • Experience using estimating software such as Conquest or Causeway
  • Experience of two-stage tenders and negotiated projects
