We are looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to work in a team caring for a man with A.B.I. (Acquired Brain Injury).
The Role
- As a member of the client's care team, you will be responsible for personal care, cleaning and general upkeep of the client's home, food preparation, assistance with physical therapy sessions every day, trips to the swimming pool, creating a fun and lively environment, and coming up with fun activities for the client.
- It may be necessary to work occasional overnight shifts once the necessary experience has been gained.
- It is desirable to have experience in healthcare and a driver's license.
- Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Due to the lack of accommodation available in the area, this role would ideally suit candidates with local links to the area, who have accommodation in place, should you be successful.
About You
- Working with the client in his home will require you to be a fun, patient, reliable, compassionate, and dedicated individual.
- It is a challenging role that requires an individual who can work well within a close team of caregivers and family members.
- We will provide you with excellent working conditions and competitive remuneration, personal pension and full holiday pay in return for your commitment.
- Interested applicants should be dedicated, well-organised, and possess excellent communication skills.
For consideration, please send an email with a brief description of your work experience and preference for a number of hours. Please note - unfortunately no accommodation can be provided; and due to the rural location, securing accommodation in the area is extremely limited. Ideal candidates will be based in Fort William or will have accommodation already in place, should you be successful.
