RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a material handling company based in Blackburn West Lothian offering a range of services to include new & used forklift sales, forklift and handling equipment service & repairs plus forklift hire.

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team.
The Role
The ideal candidate will have well-rounded experience working with diesel, electric, LP Gas, and other types of materials handling equipment. Applicants from the motor trade, commercial vehicle or plant backgrounds are also welcome, as full training will be provided.
You will be provided with a company service vehicle and will carry out routine servicing, repairs, and inspections of a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment at customer sites across the Central Belt and Lowlands. You will also assist in the maintenance of our own rental fleet of approximately 300 trucks. xiskglj
Requirements
Time-served mechanic, experienced in forklift trucks, plant equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, or cars/light vans
Physically fit, capable of working independently and within a team
Full UK driving licence
What We Offer
Salary: £37,500 and 40-hour working week
Overtime paid at an enhanced rate when available
25 days holiday plus 9 statutory public holidays
