RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a family-run business established in 1980. We are the main Scottish dealer for TCM forklift trucks. As an accredited CFTS (Consolidated Fork Truck Services) and Safe Contractor-certified company, we pride ourselves on delivering a first-class service to our customers. All of our engineers are trained and accredited to carry out Thorough Examinations in accordance with LOLER requirements.

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have well-rounded experience working with diesel, electric, LP Gas, and other types of materials handling equipment. Applicants from private car, commercial vehicle or plant backgrounds are also welcome, as full training will be provided. You will be provided with a company van stocked with fast-moving parts and will carry out routine servicing, repairs, and inspections of a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment at customer sites across the Central Belt and Lowlands. You will also assist in the maintenance of our own rental fleet of approximately 300 trucks.

Requirements

  • Time-served mechanic, experienced in forklift trucks, plant equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, or cars/light vans
  • Physically fit, capable of working independently and within a team
  • Full UK driving licence
