RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with one of Scotland's leading Independent Builders Merchants and has been providing quality building materials to the Trade and DIY enthusiast for 40 years. Our Kirkintilloch, Glasgow location holds a comprehensive range of building materials and our competitiveness, combined with our large fleet of delivery vehicles, plus personal attention ensures we provide the very best service to our customers.
The Role
Sales Advisers work predominantly face to face handling orders and enquiries from trade and retail customers visiting our large Trade Centre which includes a Trade Counter, Home Improvement Showroom and Landscape Centre.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Providing fast and friendly service and advice
- Handling customers enquiries and orders
- Preparing and following up on customer quotations
- Accurate order processing and payment collection via your own till and desk
- Greeting customers and engaging with them and their projects in order to generate new customer accounts and develop existing ones
- Dealing with enquiries for stock items as well as liaising with suppliers for special order items
