This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in UK and European road freight who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with customers and transport partners. As an experienced Freight Forwarder you'll oversee the day-to-day movement of UK and European road freight, ensuring shipments are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll be responsible for planning transport solutions, negotiating rates with haulage partners, supporting customers, and driving operational excellence across the department taking ownership of the customer journey. Coordinate UK and European road freight shipments from booking through to delivery. Plan the most efficient and cost-effective transport solutions. Negotiate competitive rates with haulage partners and secure transport bookings. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and transport partners. Prepare quotations and support the development of new and existing customer accounts. Work closely with the customs team to support import and export shipments. Monitor performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Proven experience in UK and European road freight or freight forwarding. Strong knowledge of transport planning and haulage operations. Experience with freight forwarding software . Import and export customs knowledge is desirable but not essential.
