Sunday to Wednesday: 05:00 – 13:00
Thursday: 05:00 – 12:30

Main Purpose of the Role

To carry out mechanical sweeping operations to support city-wide environmental cleanliness across Exeter.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a mechanical sweeper in line with training and safety guidance
• Remove litter and debris from public highways and areas
• Empty litter bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Undertake basic equipment checks and report faults
• Report issues affecting the appearance or safety of the public realm
• Maintain accurate records and timesheets
• Comply with all client\’s policies and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Full, clean, manual UK Category B driving licence
• Confidence operating vehicles and equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
