Hours of Work: Sunday–Tuesday or Sunday–Wednesday (rolling 2-week rota) 06:00 – 18:00
Main Purpose of the Role: To provide high-visibility cleansing services within the city centre to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manually sweep streets and pedestrian areas using a barrow
- Remove litter and empty litter bins as required
- Carry out minor graffiti removal, fly-posting removal, and weed growth trimming
- Clean public toilets and car parks when required
- Identify and report maintenance issues or environmental concerns
- Record daily tasks and complete required documentation
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and performance
Requirements:
- Full, clean, manual UK driving licence
- Ability to work long shifts and outdoor environments
- Good attention to detail and self-motivation
