Exciting Opportunity – Work with a New Qualsafe Training Provider. We are an emerging and expanding training provider in Mid Devon, delivering high-quality, accredited First Aid training. As we grow, we are looking to build a pool of experienced and reliable Freelance First Aid Trainers and IQAs to support our training delivery through our dedicated training centre. This is a flexible, ad-hoc opportunity ideal for professionals looking to pick up additional courses, with the potential for regular and ongoing bookings as demand increases. All courses are delivered in a classroom-based training environment to small groups of learners from a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, compliant First Aid at Work (FAW) and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training
- Ensure all learners meet assessment and certification standards
- Carry out practical demonstrations and learner assessments
- Complete accurate course paperwork, registers, and compliance documentation
- Maintain a professional, supportive, and high-quality learning environment
- You must be registered with Qualsafe as a Trainer or IQA
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 AET or equivalent)
- Valid First Aid Trainer qualification
- Ability to deliver accredited FAW and EFAW courses
- Up-to-date First Aid certification and CPD
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Public liability insurance (freelance basis)
- Proven ability to deliver accredited training (applications without this cannot be considered)
- Experience delivering to mixed-ability groups
- Own training materials and equipment
- Flexible availability, including occasional weekends
- Experience working as a Qualsafe-approved Trainer or IQA
- Competitive day rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)
- Flexible freelance working arrangement
- Opportunity for regular, ongoing bookings as the training centre grows
