Recruitment Unlimited are working on behalf of our client to recruit a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site based on the outskirts of Tiverton (approx. 10 miles away).
Role Overview
You will become part of a knowledgeable and supportive engineering team, playing an important role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of a busy production facility. You will be involved in both reactive and planned maintenance activities, helping to minimise downtime and maintain consistent production performance.
Main Responsibilities
- Responding to electrical breakdowns in a timely manner and carrying out effective fault diagnosis and repair
- Completing planned preventative maintenance tasks in line with scheduled maintenance plans
- Supporting ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reliability across the site
- Undertaking general electrical maintenance and day-to-day engineering support across the facility
- Working on a mix of electrical and instrumentation systems as part of wider engineering operations
Full site‑specific training will be provided where required.
Requirements
We are looking for a practical, hands‑on engineer with a proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving. You should have experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment and be confident working with:
- Three‑phase electrical systems
- Analogue current loops
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
- Industrial maintenance environments
You will be confident working independently when required, while also being a strong team player within a busy engineering environment.
