Temporary Part Time Caretaker required 8am till 4pm Mondays and Tuesdays  Immediate Start – End of July 2025   MUST HOLD A CURRENT DBS CERTIFICATE   Job Title: Temporary Part Time School Caretaker Location: Crowborough, East Sussex Hours:      8am till 4pm Mondays and Tuesdays   Duration: Until the end of July 2025 Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour   Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Temporary School Caretaker to join our team at a school located on the outskirts of Crowborough, East Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the school premises, creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.   Key Responsibilities: Thoroughly clean and maintain all areas of the school, including classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal spaces Empty and clean bins, dispose of waste appropriately Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of bathrooms and toilets Check and maintain heating and lighting systems Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed Assist with school events and activities as required Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in a school caretaker or similar role is essential A current DBS certificate is essential Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A commitment to providing a high level of service
