Minibus Driver (42 hours per week - Term Time Only)

Minibus Driver required – 42 hours per week.- Term Time Only **** Near Rye, East Sussex   Our client is a gorgeous private school located on the outskirts of Rye, East Sussex who are seeking a mini bus driver to join their existing team.     Ideally the successful candidate will be based locally or as near to Rye, East Sussex as possible.  (Bexhill – Shuttle bus service – too and from Bexhill and the campus in Rye, East Sussex)   Must hold a current clean UK driving licence with D or D1 permission Must be aged 21+ Previous driving experience required Must be willing to have a DBS check   Weekly Hours:  Monday to Friday 8am till 5:15pm     Duties/responsibilities: – Daily transport of pupils to and from Bexhill school operating a shuttle bus system throughout each day – Daily maintenance checks of the vehicle – Drive the school mini bus in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations – Ensure the safety of students during transportation, including proper seatbelt use and emergency procedures. – Use of the transport app Vectare to record pupils who have been collected and dropped off at the school. – Maintenance of the vehicle and reporting any issues to the management staff at the school – Following the schools designated routes in order to ensure a smooth drive too and from the schools premises.   Personal Attributes: – Punctual and reliable. – Patient and understanding. – Safety-conscious and responsible.   This role would suit someone who enjoys driving and who has previous driving experience who is punctual and reliable.    Benefits Include:  Pension Free lunch on a daily basis Use of the on site gym Life insurance
