We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist to join our growing team, supporting work within the Monument area. This role is ideally suited to an enthusiastic machinist with a strong continuous improvement mindset, who is always looking to optimise manufacturing methods, improve efficiencies, and maintain the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating Turn/Mill CNC machines
- Online programming at the machine control
- Working on machines such as DMG Mori NTX2500 and NLX2000
- Manufacturing precision components to extremely tight tolerances (less than 0.05mm)
- Producing high-quality surface finishes
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Supporting process improvements and driving manufacturing efficiencies
- Working within a high-precision engineering environment
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in CNC machining/programming
- Strong experience programming at the control (online programming)
- Proven experience setting and operating Turn/Mill machines
- Excellent understanding of precision engineering and tight tolerance machining
- Ability to work independently and problem solve effectively
- Positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to manufacturing
