The Role
As a Manual Turner, you will be a vital part of the manufacturing team, responsible for producing high-quality, precision-engineered components. Your work will have a direct impact on the performance and reliability of highly specialised products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating manual turning machines to produce components in line with detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Monitoring machine performance and making precise adjustments to ensure consistent accuracy and adherence to tight tolerances
- Inspecting finished components using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure they meet exact quality standards
- Working closely with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities to optimise manufacturing processes and improve efficiency

The Candidate Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Manual Turner within a precision engineering environment
- Experience with manual milling would be advantageous but is not essential
