We are working with an impressive private school situated on the outskirts of Rye, who are in the process of expanding their cleaning/housekeeping team.

Responsible to: Head of Housekeeping
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 9am OR 4pm till 6pm - 34 weeks in the year
Responsibilities:
- To clean classrooms, washrooms, communal areas, and the Boarding house(s).
- Assist with the start of term in preparing the Boarding House(s).
- Maintain all areas of the school buildings in a clean, tidy, and hygienic condition, including cleaning a designated section.
- Clean to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist with distributing laundry linen and making up bedding for the school boarding.
- Undertake Deep cleans within the school holiday period when scheduled by the Head of Housekeeping.
- Ensure all toilets and student wash facilities are stocked with soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.
- Undertake emergency cleaning (e.g., soiled toilets, floods) as necessary.
- Use the correct cleaning chemicals for each task and follow the color-coded system (training provided).
Immediate start.
Our client will need to conduct a DBS check for the successful candidate.
The candidate/s must have previous cleaning experience and be comfortable working to deadlines and in a busy role.
